No Mow May
Yes, it's time to give the lawnmower a rest in the annual initiative known as No Mow May which allows spring-flowering plants to grow through your lawn. Allowing these plants to thrive, provides nectar for a range of insect pollinators and helps increasingly endangered wildflowers to colonise the lawn. There aren't many green initiatives that require zero effort from us, but this is one of them!
We're trying to do our bit at church too; having removed the grass from the long bank, the wildflower seeds we sowed back in the autumn are now starting to come through. Our remaining grassy areas are only mown at the end of the summer so that wildflowers can flourish and set seed. So, sit back, leave the mower in the shed and enjoy your wonderful wild garden this May.

About Us
We are an evangelical, charismatic and prayerful worshipping community
and are so thankful for the people and resources with which God has blessed us.
We are a medium sized church, with a congregation
that is both local and gathered from across the city and beyond.
~ ~ ~
We place emphasis on worship, community groups and connections outside of church;
we are excited about strengthening links with our neighbouring parishes;
and we have a strong culture of serving volunteers and lay led ministry
working alongside our staff and clergy teams.
